Guest Expecations

Welcome to Angoon Alaska! We are delighted to have you as our guest and hope you have an enjoyable stay. To ensure a positive experience for all, we kindly ask that you follow these simple rules.

Please be aware that you are renting a private room, not the whole house. All common areas are shared spaces. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the common areas, bathrooms, kitchenette and laundry area clean and tidy for the comfort of all guests. *Don’t leave your belongings in the shared area’s.

 

On arrival you will be provided with a key to your room and a “key code” for the front door. Please Do Not share the code with others. 

 

Please do not move, remove, or change furniture, pictures or any other decorative items in your room or common areas without the consent of the innkeepers.

 

We kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing any animals or pets onto the property.

 

Hot breakfast is served in the common room at 7:30am and we clear the table at 8:30am. *So that we don’t waste food, please let us know if you are planning to skip breakfast.

 

Quiet times for Inn and properties are 10pm to 7am and all noise should be kept to a minimum.

 

Due to insurance requirements, there is no cooking allowed, on or within 15 feet of deck, porch or buildings and outbuildings.

 

The refrigerator / freezer / kitchen are shared by all guests, please be mindful that others need space in it as well. When preparing your meals, we kindly ask that you wash and put in the dish rack, all dishes, silverware and cooking items that you have used and put them away when dry – we’ll take care of the breakfast dishes.

 

We ask that you please refrain from eating or drinking in the rooms, particularly on or in the bed. Also, alcohol is not allowed to be consumed in rooms because of spills and lingering odors – Additional cleaning fees will be imposed.

 

Guest Washer and Dryer – The washer and dryer are in the downstairs bathroom. Please use only the provided washer pods as we have a septic system. All loads must be done by 10pm and not started before 7am so that you don’t disturb other guests. Don't forget to move your load promptly so that other can use the facilities.

 

Overnight visitors are not permitted, also no visitors are allowed on the second floor or in outbuildings without permission. We ask that all visitors be off property by 10pm. 

 

Guests are expected to maintain the premises in the same condition as upon arrival, except for routine cleaning. Any loss, damage, or theft of the Inn's or guest’s property or tampering with smoke or carbon dioxide detectors or fire extinguishers, whether intentional, negligent, or reckless, will result in the registered guest's credit card being charged for repairs and/or replacement, as well as any lost bookings. - In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. 

 

At The Eagle's Wing Inn, the safety and comfort of our guests are of paramount importance. We have a strict smoke and drug-free policy throughout our facility and properties. *Marijuana use is not allowed anywhere on property. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a cleaning fee of $250 and immediate departure from the inn.

 

Smoking or vaping, on the outside property is allowed ONLY by the swing/steps that goes down to the beach.
